 Not for really for a smart phone Feb 11, 2010
It is quite secure iphone case, but still unconformable, quite hard to take it off your pocket and the plastic cover needs to be removed to answer or make any search in your phone, so even worst if you use a pin to protect your phone, since it covers all the phone, the buttons on top and volume are difficult (not impossible) to manipulate making you to spend too much time fighting with the case. Silicon material is fine when new but absorbs a lot of dust, so once again you have to take time cleaning it. I got this case but also have the Griffin Clarifi, that is much much better in material, quality and phone access..

I like this product because it adds some grip and handle to the iPhone. I did not use the included screen protector as I already had one in place when I first purchased the phone. With handling the phone, I sometimes felt like I would drop it putting it in and out of a holster (not the one for the iSkin Revo). Additionally, putting the phone on certain surfaces, I was afraid I would scratch the back. Overall, the iSkin works great for what I want it to do: feels more secure in my hand and protects the phone from my typical everyday use.
I ended up purchasing the holster that goes with the iSkin Revo. Although it does hold the phone nicely with the iSkin on, I really didn't like it with the iPhone face facing outward. Also, it just seemed much bigger on my hip than the original holster I got.

This is by far the best protection available for the iPhone, and wont make it bulky.

HANDS DOWN THESE ARE THE BEST CASES FOR IPHONE. I OWN LIKE 10 CASES AND I HAVE 3 of THESE AND THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES I USE. I have a white iphone so the colors fit hte white very well. I saw these at the apple store in tulsa and got them on amazon for much less money! They are great at protecting the phone if you drop it or whatever.

These iSkin cases are kinda pricey, but they truly fit live a glove and based on my six month experience, and the thickness of the case, they provide superior protection. Cheap silicon cases will eventually stretch out. So far (6 months) this one hasn't stretched at all. This case is pretty strong and I rarely remove the phone from the case for fear that it will induce stretching.
The case changes the feel of the iPhone in your hand. No longer is the iPhone as dense and metalic. It now feels more "industrial". I missed the sleek feel at first, but now I'm accustomed to it. I don't use the acrylic face protector. All of the buttons (Volume Up & Down, Home, Sleep/Wake) work well since the case fits to tightly. The only challenge is that the Ring/Mute switch gets buried in the case. I need longer fingernails!
I've dropped my phone a few times on hard surfaces and from the sound of the impact, I'd say that the iSkin is doing its job well. I've seen the damage on an iPhone that was dropped on its corner without a case and it wasn't pretty (shattered screen).
I have way too much data in this wunderfone to leave it unprotected. I've never need a better case so I strongly recommend the iSkin.
