 Overall pretty good Feb 04, 2010
Overall, a good skin. It goes on easy and isn't as slippery as some others. The only problem is that the volume and especially the silent mode switch is difficult to access. If they would have just cut this area out it would work better. Better than my hard case iFrogz.

This case is perfect and the best I have seen for the iPhone. I had another kind (forget the name) that had the same coverage, but the skin was made out of an inferior silicone material that always attracted lint and was hard to get in and out of my pocket, and it ripped after a few months. My husband had the iFrog case, because he prefers hard cases. His broke after a few months (as did his friend's same one), and then would the two pieces would not stay together anymore. We then both bought this case and they have been awesome.
The silicone is top quality and a lot more substantial than others I have seen. It slides in and out of jean pockets easily, but still has enough grip to keep your phone in your hands. It offers great protection and covers the volume and power buttons, but doesn't interfere with using the screen (as my other case did). And a great price on Amazon!

A nice skin, doesn't add much bulk has included screen protector, easy to carry and seems to give good protection. It does seems that it retains a bit of heat when charging, but not very noticable.

This replaced a silicone case which was becoming way too loose. This case fits more snugly than the old case ever did. It adds very little bulk to the phone and does not stick to the inside of your pocket. I did not try the included screen protector.

Just got my brand new 3gS iPhone a week ago, and in preparation for the big day, I did a lot of research into the best (or most optimal) case to protect it. A bunch of my friends got the iFrog at the AT&T store where we all got our iPhones, but the research told me that the nifty color wears off after a couple of months. Then there were all the others to be found at the Apple store, either too bulky or too sticky or not quite tight enough. And while nothing is perfect, the iSkin case seems to be the best of what's out there. My disclaimer is that I have only had it a few days, BUT..what's not to love? I got the iSkin Solo in blue -- yes, the color is fairly subtle on my black phone, but it shows just enough color to avoid being totally boring. It fits like, well, a skin. And I don't know about the complaints that many people have about the screen protector, but mine fits fine (you just have to be careful, that's all), there's no problem with the clarity of the screen, it meshes well with the edges of the iSkin --- so I didn't feel the need to go out and buy another one. This one is just fine, thanks. I also decided to go with the Solo instead of the FX because I wasn't wild about the mirrored screen shield, and although the colors were nice, I didn't need all the extra doodads on them. The subtlety of the solid blue is also just fine for me.
So... it looks good, it functions very well, it feels good in the hand, it feels good in the pocket (not slippery, not sticky), it protects the iPhone without bulk --- yeah, I made the right choice. Definitely the winner in the iPhone Case Race.
