Does the job, but feels cheap, lets in moisture Sep 09, 2008 After doing a lot of research I decided on the Marware Sportsuit Relay for my Nano. I chose it on several criteria
1) had to allow for the Nike Plus adapter
2) needed to be versatile (fits wrist or arm)
3) needed to keep moisture out (fails at that)
4) needed to be easy to use and relatively durable
So far I have mixed feelings.
On one hand it stays on my arm/wrist, the scroll wheel is reasonably accessible through the plastic cover, it's pretty comfortable to wear, and easy to get iPod in and out after a couple times using it.
Downsides are it allows moisture in the back so the iPod has to be constantly removed to dry (which I wanted to avoid), the quality can only be described as cheap feeling - especially the tacky patent number on the back of the product showing through the plastic window when no iPod is in it, and it doesn't provide any headphone cord management (although I rig mine through the strap it doesn't always stay).
Overall this is a usable device and it's not bad enough for me to replace it with something else (mostly because I don't think there's anything really better out there on the market sadly), but I wouldn't recommend it either. Sadly the Nano is now in a 4th generation so I doubt there will be any new great cases coming out for the 3G.
I've seen better... Aug 18, 2008 The strap and pocket are comfortable, but the velcro does not hold firmly and it is difficult to use the navigation wheel on the i-pod nano when it is in the pocket. I like the space for the transmitter chip and the fabric, but a 1-piece arm strap instead of the 2-piece would be an improvement since I like to wear the strap around my arm when I exercise. Needs improvement!
perfect condition Aug 08, 2008 This is the second time I've ordered the sportband and I've been satisfied each time.
Great product Jul 18, 2008 Good product that functions just fine. Fits the nano & nike plus at a very reasonable price. The only problem is it doesnt fit around your arm. Needs to be used around your wrist. May or may not be an issue for you.

Love / Hate Relationship with this thing.. Jul 13, 2008 First the love.. the shoe pouch is great. Holds the sensor snug, easy to get on and off the shoe... what more could you ask for?
Now for the hate.. This armband strip is F L I M S Y - flimsy. Scrunches and slips from a nice flat band, to something 1/4 " round as it runs through the clasp which in turn causes your nano to rotate. This is most noticeable while you're strapping it on to begin with, but also can happen as you run and sweat. And as someone else stated before, the back of your nano will be become drenched in sweat as this band soaks it up! There's not enough velcro to really secure it tightly on the ends, and the two part system ( arm band or wrist band )just simply stinks as it is constantly pulling apart as well. I had hoped to use this thing as I work out with weights too, but if you flex your arm the slightest bit the velcro will come apart. I may end up sewing the pieces together to solve this. Have to take it out of the case to sync which is a hassle... wish it would have come with some sort of flap in the bottom instead to allow access to all ports easily. Will still be looking for another solution.
