On My Second Case...Be Careful Nov 16, 2008
I really like this case, but I did have to replace the first one because my phone got snagged hard on the side of a chair and it pulled the holster clip completely loose from the case itself. The clip isn't riveted to the case. It is attached with some kind of plastic hooks that could fail with a hard snag.

When I first saw this case, I immediately wanted it. It looked to be a real sturdy case. After receiving the item, it didn't disappoint. I accidentally dropped my iPhone and it was protected by the case. The only bad thing I could think of at the time was that I wish it would have came with a swivel clip. Then I went to take a picture & another bad thing about the case came to me. You have to hold the flap up when you want to take a picture. If you don't plan to take a lot of pictures, then this case is fine. But think twice if you actually would like to take pictures. It will protect you phone, but be a pain in the butt when trying to take pictures.

This cover does the job it advertises to do, and looks fairly decent (well it looks professional on the outside, but the inside looks like it was stitched together by an anonymous kid in Home Ec). Note that after about 4 wks of use, the velcro on the cover doesn't look like it'll last years. Also, can I just ask, who on earth would ever want to wear their iPhone on their belt straight up and down? The darn thing is 5 inches long, sitting down/bending over always requires a phone adjustment.

Yes they offer a swivel and/or rotating clip, but it's a separate accessory and costs EXTRA, despite all the DECEPTIVE and VAGUE wording in their description and on the box. Shame shame, everybody knows your name.

This is a perfect flip case for my iphone 3G. My phone fits in tightly so that the case is not at all bulky and very easy to flip open. It protects the phone....(yeah I've dropped my phones before) so this was a necessity for me. It protects the screen from scratches also. I like that you really don't have to take the phone out to charge it, or take pictures. It's much less expensive than the ones I saw at the Apple Store. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a flip cover for their iphone 3G.
